Soooo, Whatcha Doin'??
Less than two weeks until school starts...wow. In some ways I am not ready and I do not want the kids to go back. However, for the sake of my sanity, I am ready to get back on a schedule. We've stayed busy all summer long, and we are starting to run out of fun things to do...
So here is what we have been up to:
The dogs found a nice place to dig. Yay.
Which meant that Maris got to spend his day off preventing a prisoner breakout:
(now we have the beginnings of a rock path...thanks for the rocks, Nancy.)
Let's see them try to dig THAT up.
I'm sure they will try.
Parker started Football practice tonight at 6 pm...Go Panthers!
Which means Aliza started cheerleading practice tonight at 6:15. She is going to be a cheerleader for Parker's team. Yay again.
(I'm sure she will soon be flying through the air with the greatest of ease.)
(I'm sure she will soon be flying through the air with the greatest of ease.)Am I the only one who thinks that cheerleading is out of control here?
Tyler's All-star team had their party tonight too. At 6:30. I love how it was synchronized so I had to have a child somewhere every 15 minutes. Tonight Maris was home, so that made it all that much easier.
I, of course, am fully immersed in PTO activities. Anyone want to help make popcorn at the school's movie on Thursday night?
(notice how happy all those people look. none of them must be the PTO president.)
And our whole family is watching the Olympics, all day, every day.

And can I just say, wow, Michael Phelps. Four golds, 4 to go!
And how about the men's gymnastics team!
I love the Olympics. Are y'all watching? What is your favorite event?
And did I mention that I finished Breaking Dawn?
I liked it and I am happy with the way it ended. She left it open that there could be another book, but all my loose ends were tied.
