Extra! Extra! Parker earns his Bear!


Last night at our Cub Scout Pack meeting, Parker was awarded his Bear, as well as belt loops for archery, BB guns, Bicycling, Geology and Baseball, and his pin for Baseball. He also earned a gold and two silver arrow points. (And we know how I love to sew on arrow points!) Great Job, Parker! After the boys pin on the mom's pin, they are supposed to kiss their mom. Some of the boys wouldn't do it in front of everyone, but not my Parker! He is a very loving and affectionate boy and gave me a big ole' hug and kiss! He is the last of the boys in the Bear troop to turn 10 (next week!!) so he is already meeting with the Weblos troop. They did a little skit about communication to help them earn their Communicator Pin for Weblos. Parker was the MOM in the skit, and wore a cute plastic blue wig. He is a total ham! He carried in the troop flag for the color guard and did a great job at that. It was fun and we are proud of Parker's hard work and accomplishments!
