Sun Up to Sun Down
OK, first of all...REALLY?? I'm not quite that old!
Maya is the one on the far right in the black diva outfit. Her little sister is right next to Aliza dressed like a princess, and I tell you, she is quite the cute little princess! Their other sister, Adrienne, is hidden behind the party girl/diva teacher, and she and Aliza get along really well.
Alright...here we go...Saturday, 6:30 am wake up call...we've got a long day. Tyler had a camp out last night with the scouts at Irwin Park. This time he took the warm sleeping bag! They got up first thing this morning and went up to Myers Park to help our Cub Scout troop with their CUBE activity. They used it as service hours, and Noelle took pictures of Tyler working our booth. When she sends them, I'll post! Parker finally got to play in 2 baseball games today, a double header. His team is in a tournament that started today, so he joined them. We had to be in Plano at 8:15...On our way down, we watched some hot air balloons and Parker took this picture from the moving car, but I thought it looked cool with the big ol' moon still high in the sky!
Parker played catch, 2nd and center. He is a great team player and tries to always do what the coach asks. He did great!
He went 4 for 4 and walked twice. No strike outs today! This is a line drive to left field, he made a single then stole 2nd. In our first game, we lost (badly) and our team only scored two runs, but one of them was an RBI scored from his hit and the other point was him crossing home!
Leading off...the coach kept telling him, "farther, farther..." That always makes me nervous!
They won the 2nd game, and they ended up going into tomorrow's game seeded third. Good luck Eagles! We will be thinking of you!
Aliza went to Maya's birthday party at The Party Palace...where they got them all dressed up and taught them how to be diva's.
They were fast learners!

They sent them home with diva dust...just in case they ever need help unlocking that inner diva...I think that all these girls had plenty of diva without the dust!
Then we ran up to CUBE, where Parker and Tyler were able to go to a couple booths, including bb shooting and our bird seed feeder booth! Look at those awesome pine cones!! (Thanks again, Mom!)
Then...we went to the church for our Trunk or Treat activity. So as to not overload you with pictures of our day (too late??) I will only include a few:
Tanner and Tyler. Tanner turns 12 in December, and he and Tyler will be at the middle school together next year. He has a great family!
Rheagan and Hannah Montana, oh I mean Aliza.
Kamille and Parker. Kamille is in Parker's school class. She is a darling little girl and has the nicest mom!
And I know that I have told you all about my friend Laurie, well, this is her:
My favorite part of this Halloween party, well one of my favorite parts, was the WEATHER! Today was awesome. It started out chilly at the ballpark (in the high 50's) but we topped out in the 70's today, and Aliza actually wore flip flops with her costume. No one wore coats. In fact Parker got too hot and took off his jersey! I love it here! And the maple trees are turning beautiful shades of red and orange. We still have tons of green, but I'm good with that!
