Awesome! That is a big deal. Teachers LOVE to brag about how many kids were commended. It is a big accomplishment. TAKS isn't the easiest thing out there. Are they both taking the Math TAKS next?

Yep, Math is coming up (for both 3rd and 5th), and I think 5th grade also takes Science? I can't remember. Tyler (7th grade) took reading (haven't gotten scores yet) and has science or social studies...maybe writing? coming up. I can't remember!

Austin got Commended too. Woo Hoo. In fact, 67% of the 8th graders at his middle school got a Commended rating. I think that's pretty darn good.

How wonderful!!! Commended sounds awesome to me! We take the CRCT tests here in Georgia...I wonder if it is the same kind of thing...
