Sliding Doors

An older (from the 90's) movie I like is Sliding Doors, starring Gwynyth Paltrow.
One reason is that I like her hair really really alot. It looks cuter in the movie than it does on the cover...
And I like this quote:
"Jerry, I'm a woman! We don't say what we want! But we reserve the right to be (very mad) if we don't get it. That's what makes us so fascinating! And not just a little bit scary!"
Here's hoping we all get exactly what we want!

Rick needs to remember this quote for all the times I am mad and he can't figure it out. I usually can't say why I am mad, but I always think he should know why because I think it is obvious.

that's one of my favorite movies too.

I totally own that movie! In fact, I took it over to my hairdressers to show her that hair because I wanted. However, apparently you have to be Gweneth to pull it off because it looked more like I had gotten into a fight with a lawn mower.

Wow! I haven't seen that movie in a long time, but I really liked it. I'll have to get it from the library soon!

"I am one of [Jesus Christ's] witnesses, and in a coming day I shall feel the nail marks in his hands and in his feet and shall wet his feet with my tears. But I shall not know any better then than I know now that he is God's Almighty Son, that he is our Savior and Redeemer, and that salvation comes in and through his atoning blood and in no other way."--Bruce R. McConkie, "The Purifying Power of Gethsemane"

"...we must be careful, as we seek to become more and more godlike, that we do not become discouraged and lose hope. Becoming Christlike is a lifetime pursuit and very often involves growth and change that is slow, almost imperceptible. The scriptures record remarkable accounts of men whose lives changed dramatically, in an instant... But we must be cautious as we discuss these remarkable examples. Though they are real and powerful, they are the exception more than the rule. For every Paul, for every Enos, and for every King Lamoni, there are hundreds and thousands of people who find the process of repentance much more subtle, much more imperceptible. Day by day they move closer to the Lord, little realizing they are building a godlike life. They live quiet lives of goodness, service, and commitment. They are like the Lamanites, who the Lord said "were baptized with fire and with the Holy Ghost, and theyknew it not." (3 Ne. 9:20; italics added.)"--Ezra Taft Benson, "A Mighty Changeof Heart"
