Saturday is a special day

It felt like the good old days today as we got up early for a full day of baseball...I love to sit at the ball field on a Saturday and watch the boys play. It was a beautiful day, not too hot or cold and I managed to sunscreen all the kids sufficiently so no burns! Well, with the exception of Parker, but that was because after his game he went home with his friend Brady and spent the day in their pool! And it's not a bad one, he'll be tan by Monday.

Parker had a 9:30 game that didn't start until just after 10. They also played last night at Celina. I didn't manage any pic's of either of those games, but Parker was named the MOP (most outstanding player) of the game. They won both of their games and he had a great time!

Tyler's select team played in a tournament at Triple Creek today (so it was a double header, 12:30 and 2:15.) They lost both of them, one was close (4-5) the other was not. We only scored 1 point in it...and it was Tyler's run. Woo hoo! Triple Creek is a beautiful complex with great fields, as pictured below.

Here's one of T's hits in the first game: (see the ball speeding out at the far right of the picture??) Nice hit, T.

He also had some great throws from catch.

What a beautiful day...everyone is going to sleep well tonight!
